You Make A Difference
Our FCC chapter mission is to promote a network of support for adoptive families and those interested in adoption from China. And we advocate for our children on local, state, national and international levels. As we equip our children and create a society that understands and embraces multicultural families, each of us makes a difference.
Here are some opportunities for you to contribute to this effort in areas of your personal interest and skills. Take a look.
Adoption Education

Are you someone who seeks out resources to help understand adoption parenting issues better? Do you realize the value of sharing experiences with others? Then volunteering in a leadership or member role in this area is for you.
Help provide our members with adoption education programming and information about educational events in our community.

Neighborhood/Play Groups

Getting together with other families in your area or with families with children the same age as yours helps build self esteem and confidence. Consider adding your energy to some of these existing groups:

Charitable Giving

As receivers of great gift, adoptive parents often seek ways to respond. In addition to individual efforts, your FCC chapter seeks to make a difference as advocates of children who remain in Chinese orphanages.
